Welcome to Gettysburg Pride 250: A New Birth of Freedom — an inclusive, all-ages celebration of LGBTQ+ joy, visibility, creativity, and community care.

Friday — Community Kickoff

Gettysburg Pride Weekend begins with community-centered gatherings, performances, and evening celebrations across town. Start Pride weekend by connecting, celebrating, and showing up together.

One of the best parts? Every official Gettysburg Pride Friday event is FREE!

Friday Pride Walk: 6 PM Meet us at the Gettysburg Middle School parking lot with your handheld Pride & American flags, to walk the sidewalks and show Gettysburg our PRIDE!

Friday Pride 250 Showcase: 7 PM at Unitarian Universalists Gettysburg. Join us for a cabaret-style performance featuring song, dance, drag, and more! Free to attend, just RSVP here!

Saturday — Gettysburg Pride Festival at the Rec Park

Our signature Pride celebration takes place for the first time at the Gettysburg Rec Park — Join us for a full day of performances, community spaces, music, local vendors, food, and all-ages activities.

Is Gettysburg Pride family-friendly?
Yes! Pride is an all-ages celebration welcoming families, youth, and community members of every generation.

Is the festival free?
Yes — the Saturday Festival and many other Gettysburg Pride events are free and open to the public unless otherwise noted.

Can I bring my dog?
Leashed pets are welcome at outdoor events. Please ensure animals are comfortable around crowds and music. Service animals welcome at all events.

What should I bring?
  • Water bottle
  • Sunscreen
  • Lawn chairs or blankets
  • Comfortable shoes
  • Pride flags & joy

Will there be food?
Yes! Food trucks and local vendors will be available throughout the Saturday festival.

Where do I go if I need help?
Visit the Info Booth or speak with a volunteer wearing a Pride badge or lanyard, or seek out security. 

What happens if it rains?
Pride is a rain-or-shine event. Weather updates will be shared via social media and announcements.

Are there bathrooms?
Yes — restroom facilities are available at Rec Park and listed on the festival map.

How do I report a concern or safety issue?
Gettysburg Pride follows community care principles. Please notify a volunteer, safety team member, or the Info Booth immediately.
